The following is the terms and conditions for floor covering and carpet fitting.
All rooms, where new flooring is to be laid, should be cleared of furniture and the old flooring should be removed. If this is not possible we can arrange for it to be done at an additional cost, please ensure that we are given advance notice if this is to be done. A price will have been agreed for the new floor covering prior to the old one being removed. If we find that on removal of the old flooring repair is needed to ensure a sound and level surface an extra charge will be made and agreed before work continues. 
Carpets and other flooring are received direct from the manufacturer and laid unexamined. It is rare that there are any faults, however if one is discovered whilst fitting the flooring we will replace it at no extra cost. Upon completion of the job the fitter will tidy up the waste but will not remove it from the property as this is an additional expense. The waste can be left out in bags with your weekly collection or for an extra cost, which will be agreed in advance, we can arrange to take it away for you. Upon completion of the job please examine the work and if you are not satisfied with it please inform the fitter so that we can sort any problems out for you. Please ensure that any complaints are logged with us within 28 days of fitting. Certain restrictions may apply, please ask instore for more details. |
